"The composite world of DaveandJenn is somewhat autobiographical, created by our shared and oversaturated minds as a means to process and order the world around us. We work to create our own history and mythology.

Make-Believe, Science, Art History and Hearsay: these are cornerstones to our shared inner landscape.

We aim to challenge the traditional definitions of painting in our own way; pushing our materials in order to create complex, multi-layered, over-the-top paintings that are the physical embodiment of the imagined world that inhabits them.

By further focusing on the mutation of our medium and by experimenting with the ways in which paintings can be formed, viewed and installed we want to build up a practice that blurs the lines between painting, sculpture and installation."
